My Camera Stories is a photographic blog by Alex Morrice, a photographer ever since he first picked up the family Kodak 126 camera in 1976.
Alex was a late convert to digital photography. It wasn’t until a New York holiday in 2004, standing at the top of the Empire State Building, that he looked at all of the other tourists around him and realised he was the only person shooting film. His first digital camera was a Fujifilm compact. He switched to Olympus in 2006, and still shoots mostly Olympus today.
Alex is a retired civil servant living in Portobello, Edinburgh.
